Beginning the third week in January, eligible citizens may begin making applications for the Farmers Market Food Voucher program. You must be at least 60 years old, and meet financial guidelines to qualify. This is an annual $50 benefit that can only be used at authorized Farmers Market locations–not at grocery stores, Walmart, etc. You must apply every year. Benefits for 2024 are now expired and ALL cards are at zero balance. You will need your card number to apply for 2025 benefits, but if you do not have your card, you can still apply; there just may be a delay in receiving benefits.
