Pastor T’Dera Jarman is married to Cheryl Bell Jarman, and together they are the proud parents of Phillip Jarman (married to Keshia), and Sydnei Jarman. They are blessed with grandchildren Tia and Zaveon, and lovingly embrace their extended grandchildren, Justin and Alissa (Jerell).

Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Pastor Jarman was raised by Ms. Lorine Jarman and was baptized at Greater Temple Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor James A. Gibson, Sr. There, he eagerly began his service journey as a Youth Sunday School Superintendent, Youth Usher, and Youth Delegate to the Baptist State Convention in Selma, Alabama.

Pastor Jarman’s educational journey began in the Birmingham City Schools, culminating in his graduation from West End High School. He went on to earn a degree in Computer Information Systems from Alabama State University, an achievement he holds with pride.

His spiritual path led him to Hutchinson Missionary Baptist Church, where he served faithfully under Pastor G.W.C. Richardson, Jr. During his time there, he took on multiple roles including Male Usher, Choir Member, Sunday School Teacher, Instructor for Sunday School Teachers, Personnel Board Member, and teacher for both midday and evening Bible Study.

Before his call to ministry, Pastor Jarman was ordained as a deacon. In 2004, he accepted the call to preach, delivering his first sermon that same year. By 2006, he was ordained as a pastor and began receiving pastoral assignments.

Mrs. Jarman served faithfully alongside her husband in the Prayer Ministry, as well as with the Family and Marriage Ministries, where they worked together to counsel, mentor, and strengthen couples and families in the church community. Together, the Jarmans also served on the church’s Marriage Counseling Team.

Professionally, Pastor Jarman has been a dedicated State of Alabama employee since 1991. He is also a retired member of the Alabama Air National Guard and the United States Air Force Reserve, having served for 28.5 years. He currently serves on a civic organization committed to help formerly incarcerated individuals reintegrate into society.

Pastor Jarman lives by his personal ministry motto: "Feed the inner spirit, renew the mind, and strengthen the body through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God."
