Mission Statement

The mission of the YAC Ministry is through the guidance of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ as we plan, organize, and carry out events and activities in support of the youth of the church.  Many of these activities are done in conjunction with the Sunday School Department.  All activities are Christ-centered and are designed for our youth’s continued growth in their personal relationship with God.

Activities include worship service on the 3rd and 4th Sundays in the Fellowship Hall; second Sunday participation in the main worship service includes leading responsive reading, reading announcements, acknowledging visitors, and the offertory prayer.  The youth also participate in various missionary programs, annual Thanksgiving dinner, annual youth picnic, bowling parties, youth sleepover, etc.
